The Aussie Snapshot has taken place four times in the past 10 years. In 2005, Ben Peek spent a frantic week interviewing 43 people in the Australian spec fic scene, and since then, it’s grown every time, now taking a team of interviewers working together to accomplish!
In the lead up to the World Science Fiction Convention in London, they have been blogging interviews for Snapshot 2014, conducted by Tsana Dolichva, Nick Evans, Stephanie Gunn, Kathryn Linge, Elanor Matton-Johnson, David McDonald, Helen Merrick, Jason Nahrung, Ben Payne, Alex Pierce, Tansy Rayner Roberts, Helen Stubbs, Katharine Stubbs, Tehani Wessely and Sean Wright.

The first issue of the new Aussie spec fic magazine, Dimension6, is now available for download. The magazine is published by coeur de lion, one of Australia’s finest publishers, and is a free download. Further issues will be released this year, and this new magazine features some of Australia’s finest writers.
The first issue contains a story by SuperNOVArian, Jason Nahrung, while editor/publisher Keith Stevenson is also a member of the group.
